It was a mighty grey New Hampshire fall day for sure but the weather could not put a damper on this wonderful couples day! I just love mini weddings! There is just something extra special about a wedding where only the closest few of family and friends are invited. You can just feel the relaxed, loved filled energy from the start of the day.

This wedding at Three Chimneys Inn in Durham, NH was all of that and more. The bride started her day by peacefully preparing with her beautiful daughter, whom was also totally smitten with the whole day! This wedding was a two hour package and it was just perfection, I was there to get a few preparatory shots along with the ceremony followed by some beautiful family and couples photos. The couple spent their day truly relaxed and finished it up with a beautiful dinner on the patio under the stars with all their family and friends.

I love surprise proposals! There is just something so extra fun and loving about sneaking around the trees and grape vines, staying out of site, waiting for the moment that the question is popped! Creeper alert! I know, super creepy hiding behind trees and all, but oh so sweet! It is becoming a super fun ritual of mine to meet up with a "fiance to be" at Flag Hill Winery and Distillery and plan out their surprise proposal with the ladies at Flag Hill. We just love, love, and just can't help it!

After Steve contacted me with his plans to propose to his girlfriend Heather, of four months, I was beyond excited for the big day! The fact that Steve knew she was the one after such a short period of time, truly goes to show, when you know, you just know! The love and pure happiness was contagious after seeing the two together!

After the "vineyard tour" made its way back to the Niagra vines, I knew it was time for the big proposal and even bigger yes!

We made our way around the vineyard for an impromptu engagement session with the two love birds, and if you look closely, I am pretty sure you can see that Heather is still floating on air!
